The four programs we offer, are explained below;

Course 1
Course - Boat Licence and Jet-ski, $80
Attend a Safe Boating Course. A step-by-step presentation about channel markers, navigation lights, collision regulations, distance off, boat wash, speed and the compulsory safety equipment, together with PWC Jet-ski Safety Course included: operating restrictions, towing, noise annoys, irregular behaviour and surf zones (2½-hours).

Course 2
Test - Boat Licence, $30
A quick review of the Safe Boating Course, then complete the compulsory knowledge Test (1-hour).

Course 3
Test - Jet-ski Licence, $30
A quick review of the PWC Jet-ski Safety Course, then and complete the compulsory knowledge Test (1-hour).

Course 4
Practical - Boating, $110
A 3½-hour Practical Boating Experience, in a small group, where each participant will gain skills, confidence and time at the wheel of a SEA SCHOOL training vessel with outboard. For your convenience practical jet-ski training is integrated/included in this course (3½-hours).

The School will travel to your place of business, High School, club or region: when and where you want it.

Logbook Practical – Attend our practical to complete the logbook, $110
We can help complete your Practical Logbook. Example: you have completed a trip or two and need an experienced skipper to teach you a few more things and sign you off.
Undertake the Practical Boating with SEA SCHOOL CENTRAL COAST.

Logbook, Do-it-yourself Practical – Get a friend to complete the Logbook
If the Practical Logbook option is selected, the applicant must complete a minimum of three trips in a powered vessel under power.
Trip details must be recorded in the logbook and verified by an experienced boat licensee (a person who holds, as a minimum, a current and valid NSW or interstate Boat Driver Licence and has at any stage held a Boat Driver Licence for at least three (3) consecutive years, and who may be contacted to verify the information in the log).

Only trips undertaken within 12 months of the date of applying for the issue of a boat licence will be recognised for the purpose of satisfying practical experience requirements.
