Course- Adventure Diver

That’s what the Adventure Diver course is all about.
You don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it is designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your Open Water Diver certification.
This course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through five different Adventure Dives.
You try out different specialties whilst gaining experience under the supervision of your PRODIVE Instructor.
You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun, scuba diving.
The Fun Part:
We have chosen Drift diving in a current, fine tuning your skills with Perfect Buoyancy, wreck diving on the ex HMAS Adelaide, combine these with underwater Navigation and Deep diving with an optional Night dive- and you possess the knowledge, to dive a majority of the locations, we offer.
What will you learn?
During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving.
The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.
The other knowledge and skills you learn, vary with your interest and the adventures you have – buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.
Who should take this course?
Learning to scuba dive was fun and exciting, now you want to dive a little deeper, explore some really cool dive sites like wrecks and maybe that after dark feeling really intrigues and excites you.
Whatever your reason- to scuba dive with confidence, you should take the Adventure Diver Specialty course.
Your training starts by:
Short academic sessions
Online home study
Reviewing the adventure dives you will be completing
How important it is, to know your personal limits.
Your Total Diving System and specialised equipment for adventure diving
During the five adventure dives with your instructor, you will go over:
Drift diving in a current
Learning how to navigate underwater
Perfecting your buoyancy control
Managing and planning procedures for deep diving
Possibly a night or limited visibility dive

Register for your SSI On-line e-learning academic presentations, quizzes, exam and practical skills here.
Complete the online learning program
Arrange to meet with your PRO-DIVE Instructor to plan your deep diving adventures.
To be a minimum of 15 years old.
All students under 18 years of age will be required to provide signed parent or guardian consent form.
Fit to Dive - Please take time to review the Dive Medical Requirements and Fitness to Dive information.
Gear Hire - is available and includes one piece wetsuit, buoyancy vest, regulator with dive computer, tanks and weights.
Snorkelling gear is not included.
What you need to bring - Sunscreen, swimmers and towel, Log book.
DSMB or Safety sausage
Knife or dive tool
PRACTICAL COURSE CONTENT
SSI On-line e-learning academic presentations, quizzes, exam.
(must be completed before any in water training commences).
Minimum of five open water training dives required.
Tanks, weight belt and/or weights are included in course cost.
1. All open water skills must be acknowledged and accepted on-line.
2. ProDive Central Coast has confirmed certification on-line, through Scuba Schools International web site.
3. You will receive your Online Digital card- (Plastic "C" card is also available- Fee applies)
4. Your adventure diver certification counts toward the PRO DIVE ScubaMaster Diver rating.
