Operating a boat safely requires skill and training.
Simply keeping your vessel on course involves a lot of knowledge, not only how the boat is affected by wind and current, but also how to easily come alongside a dock or wharf at the end of your journey.
Loading and unloading can also be quite hazardous, if not done correctly. This knowledge is essential for the safety of all passengers aboard.

You will learn the fundamentals about boating, what to do and more importantly, what not to do!
You will also have time to go over all safety equipment that is strongly recommended to be carried by all small vessels venturing onto a lake or even the ocean.
Simple and easy methods for launching and retrieving a boat, tying up alongside and navigating within a narrow channel. Recognising hazards and understanding signage around you that is designed to protect you and other waterway users.
You will also learn how to splice ropes and tie knots.
You will receive a "NSW Boating handbook" with the information you need to sit for and satisfactorily pass the NSW Waterways Powerboat Licence, when you
complete your NSW Maritime boating exam.

You will use our Government surveyed dive boat that contains all relevant safety equipment.
By reviewing the PADI Manual and DVD, you will learn the important do’s and don’ts of Boat Handling including:
Boat terminology, etiquette, safety and procedures.
Must be a adventurous.
You can do many types of diving from a boat.
Just about any PADI specialty course can be taken in conjunction with the Boat handling course, which can help you reach the coveted Master Scuba diver rating.
