The Fun Part
The Pro-Dive Central Coast Night Diver Course is intended to help you develop the skills, knowledge and techniques, so vital to your fun and safe participation in all your night dives.
What You Learn
Learn the tips, tricks and ways about specific equipment handling, night time communication, specialised equipment and night time signals.
Night diving will open up a whole new dimension to all divers.
The Scuba Gear You Use
You use all the basic scuba gear, depending on what type of diving you will be doing at night.
You may also want to use underwater photography equipment, DPV's (underwater scooters), a dry suit, lift bags, dive float, line or other specialty gear.
The Learning Materials You Need
Viewing the Night Diver DVD and completing the knowledge review in your Adventures in Diving Manual will prepare you for the single theory session.
You will need to supply your own primary and back up torch for the three night dives. Hire equipment is available.
By reviewing the PADI Manual you will learn the important do’s and don’ts of diving at night including: course terminology, etiquette, safety and procedures.
Prerequisites
Must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver.
Your Next Adventure
Just about any PADI specialty course can be taken in conjunction with the Night Diver course. Boat diving, Underwater Photography are just two courses which can help you reach the coveted Master Scuba diver rating.
