Air used by scuba divers should be pure, dry and have no objectionable odours.
The one single factor that riles more divers than anything else, is when they purchase air refills the air tastes dirty or smells.
PADI requires all 5 Star Dive centres to test their supply of breathing air,
at a minimum every three months and provide Air quality reports.
Pro-Dive Central Coast, being the longest established PADI Five Star Dive centre on the NSW Central Coast, takes the obligation that divers want, what they pay for.
For this reason alone Pro-Dive Central Coast has taken the initiative to rename their supplied Air quality breathing medium and have branded this product "Aviox".
Aviox will become a brand name divers will look for in their endeavour to secure pure dry breathing mediums, whether they are recreational or professional sectors.
0.5% Carbon Monoxide at the surface equals:
A breathing mixture containing 1% CO at 10 metres
A breathing mixture containing 1.5% CO at 20 metres
A breathing mixture containing 2% CO at 30 metres
Realise for a moment that a contamination level of
1.5 % Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a toxic mixture.
Even a safe dive to 15 metres for an Open Water Diver can become very dangerous, for this reason alone, divers need to be certain of the quality of breathing medium within their scuba tanks before, they enter the water.
Pro-Dive Central Coast electronically tests its supply of
breathing air (AVIOX) each and every month.
We check your supply of breathing air-
Every single fill, every single day.
Test reports are available for your perusal and Pro-Dive Central Coast welcomes independent witnesses to observe the procedures of Air quality testing with our Electronic breathing medium testing analysis. Contact Centre manager for test timetable.
