Current Category Exposure Suits The type and thickness of the suit you choose depends on the water temperature you are diving in and your individual characteristics. Some people suffer cold more than others and women often feel cold more than men. Mares offers a complete line to meet the needs of divers in all conditions, ensuring maximum comfort during the dive. For the coldest waters, a semi-dry suit with a TIZIP provides thermal insulation and better protection for the surface of the body. Alternatively, you can use a full wetsuit that is 5-mm or more in thickness. Adding additional layers, such as a vest with a hood or a shorty, will extend your diving pleasure even further. As the seasons and temperatures change, you can remove a layer or two. Warmer waters call for less thermal protection, and thinner neoprene, from 1.5 mm to 3 mm. Fit is a key factor in choosing a wet suit. Another option for protecting against the water is a dry suit. Dry suits are the ideal in cold water and for people who chill easily because they keep the body completely dry. The choice of under suit is crucial in this case. Comfortable thermal under suits, available in different thickness for different temperatures, ensure maximum comfort when diving in cold or more temperate waters. The great looking Tusa Spring has 3mm neoprene and will protect you from the harmful sun where ever your adventure leads you. Great for any occasion with a stylish and full length fit. Released soon
