The HMAS Adelaide prepared as a dive reef has been scuttled off the NSW Central Coast.

This scuttled vessel is the largest naval vessel purposely sunk for scuba divers in Australia. There are over twenty dives to fully explore this marvelous  ship which has become an artificial reef as she collects fish life attracted to her. There are plenty of entry points into the vessel and safety is our utmost priority with this vessel.

Bob Diaz, a member of the Plan of Management committee as well as the Dive Reference group had made this project his utmost goal to ensure the former HMAS Adelaide was readied for scuba diving as safe as possible whilst, maintaining an adventurous dive for all levels of certification.
