QTY:

Boat Handler

Owning a boat is everyone's dream, whether it be a small runabout or a large cabin cruiser. Being able to operate that vessel safely is another skill that you should master.

Many people venture into buying or building a boat without thinking about the fundamentals of good boating or boat handling techniques.

During you Boat handler program you will complete three theory sessions and two hands on boating sessions over two days.

The Fun Part

Operating a boat safely requires skill and training.

Simply keeping your vessel on course involves a lot of knowledge, not only how the boat is affected by wind and current, but also how to easily come alongside a dock or wharf at the end of your journey.

Loading and unloading your boat can also be quite hazardous, if not done correctly. This boat handling knowledge is essential for the safety of all passengers aboard.

You will also have time to go over all safety equipment that is strongly recommended to be carried by all small vessels venturing onto a lake or even the ocean.
