- Snorkelling Tours
Nestled on a headland between two beautiful beaches on the NSW Central Coast is Toowoon bay. Located within minutes of great beaches, dining and parklands of The Entrance township and Tuggerah Lakes.
You can choose from a range of accommodation outlets including camping, cabins, hotels and resorts.
During the warm summer months, you can cool off by snorkelling in the calm, clear waters of Toowoon bay. Check out Australia’s diverse marine wildlife in their natural habitat within the rocky shelves and ledges. The bays floor is a mixture of sea grasses, sea weed and a white sandy bottom with rocky reefs providing a protected snorkelling area.
Following a short site safety briefing, your experienced and passionate Pro-Dive snorkel tour guide, will show you an overview of the local marine life, to keep your eye out for.
ProDive snorkeling tours are suitable for beginner and experienced snorkelers alike, with easy introduction lessons, available for beginners.
Small group tours where you can search for swift Silver Bream, red banded Morwong, flighty Garfish swimming just below the surface and the curious blue Gropers, all in their natural habitats.
We will provide Foam floating noodles and inflatable life vests to swimmers for extra safety, if necessary.
A short swim test will be conducted before the tour, to gauge everyone’s ability to swim and enjoy the tour.
All participants must be able to swim 50 metres freestyle unassisted.
