BLC - Boat Licence Course

Time spent on the water will develop skills, knowledge and confidence when operating a vessel and help prevent accidents on the waterways.

In NSW a Boat Licence was made more difficult to obtain from June 1st, 2009. The state law now requires people over 12 years of age to complete theory and practical training prior to operating a powered vessel six knots or more (that's an outboard of about 4-6hp)

  • MEM50010B – Respond to boating emergencies and incidents
