During you Boat handling program you will complete three theory sessions and two hands on boating sessions over two days.

What You Learn
You will learn the fundamentals about boating, what to do and more importantly, what not to do!
You will also have time to go over all safety equipment that is strongly recommended to be carried by all small vessels venturing onto a lake or even the ocean.
Simple and easy methods for launching and retrieving a boat, tying up alongside and navigating within a narrow channel.
Recognising hazards and understanding signage around you that is designed to protect you and other waterway users.
You will also learn how to splice ropes and tie knots.
Download your copy of the "NSW Boating handbook" with the information you need to sit for and satisfactorily pass the NSW Waterways Powerboat Licence, when you complete your NSW Maritime boating exam.

You will use our Government surveyed dive boat that contains all relevant safety equipment.
